This is just a sample schedule for the Uruguay dove hunt at Estancia Elena:

Day 1 - arrive at the airport in Montevideo (MVD) or at the Buquebus terminal in Colonia, Uruguay. Met by the host/guide (English speaking) and transfer by private car/van to Estancia Elena. Drive time is about 45 minutes to Estancia Elena from the port in Colonia OR about 2 to 2.5 hours from Montevideo International Airport.

Day 2 - wake up to warm breakfast and coffe/tea and head out to the dove hunting fields. Drive time to the fields is 15 - 30 minutes. You will shoot all day if dove hunting in Uruguay or take the morning or afternoon for Perdiz hunting with the bird dogs.

Day 3 - same as day 2. Break some records. We have some! The meals are served at Estancia Elena - a nice "fortress" like lodge with large patio that is the favorite among visitors.

Day 4 - last morning and out to the dove fields for a last blast of high volume dove hunting in South America. However, we hope you return. The season is year round so enjoy summertime in Uruguay with some high volume shooting or come back for the combo hunt of doves and Perdiz during the winter season in Uruguay.
